M. Rhodes Company is on this list because the owner still gives the estimate. Homeowners do not merely say the house looked better. They name Bob and Tara, installer Stacy, Mastic siding, octagonal gable vents, and a house that went from the ugly one on the block to a wrap neighbors noticed.
For Oklahoma City homeowners, those details matter. They show how an 83-year family shop operates when you want the owner at the kitchen table, not a roaming storm crew.

The owner still comes out
M. Rhodes Company is a family-owned Oklahoma City siding and window shop. The company writes that it has been in operation for 83 years. Owner Robert M. Rhodes and his daughter Tara give the estimates themselves.
The site is siding and windows. They do not list roofing as the trade. BBB has accredited them as a siding contractor since 1964.
Homeowners should confirm current products, warranty coverage, and the written project scope directly with the company before contracting.
What the reviews show
The best contractor reviews give you a number you can compare, a product, and named people. James M. did that after five bids.
Called 5 different siding companies. 2 didn’t respond. The other 2 were the big name companies. Got estimates from the 2 big names. Seemed like used car salesman offering “special deals” for a few days only was quoted $62,000 and $58,000. My wife found M. Rhodes here on Angie’s list. Called them they came and gave an honest estimate (under what the big names did) $27,417. Very quick responses from Bob and his daughter Tara. They use high quality Mastic siding. Signed with them work started a week later. (Was told probably 10-14 days before it would start). Quoted 3-4 weeks to finish. Finished within time even with all the bad weather we had. His crew did an AMAZING job! Very friendly and helpful. Can’t recommend enough! I will be calling when I need windows!
Mastic siding, named people, weather, and a written number he could compare. That is a view of the process, not only a compliment.
More than a color change
A vinyl wrap is only as good as the trim, the caulk, and the vents.
Everyone at his company was friendly, and respectful of both my property and my feelings. It looks great! My house has gone from the ugly house on the block, needing a lot of trim work replaced, to looking wonderful! Trim was replaced and covered, all areas were caulked well, and I now have an extra layer of insulation - and octagonal gable vents! Because of the extra trim work and caulk, my house cost more than just siding would have. I got quotes from a couple of other companies, and they were higher, plus this is a family business, so they care more about doing a good job than a large company, where you're just a number, and all they care about is getting done and moving on.
Trim, caulk, insulation, and octagonal gable vents. Not only a color change.
Excellent and very professional job. They used high quality grade vinyl siding. They did all the cleanup. They were thousands of dollars cheaper than other companies.
Named material, cleanup, and a number she could compare.
Stacy on the wall, Bob and Tara on the estimate
Homeowners in this file keep naming the same three people.
Bob and Tara were great to work with. The installer Stacy was excellent. They were very accommodating when I changed the plan. Stacy was precise, extremely efficient, kept a very clean work environment. It’s absolutely a beautiful job and I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. My house looks brand new.
A plan change, a named installer, and a clean yard.
I would hire M. Rhodes Company 100 times over! Stacy’s work is immaculate, such a perfectionist. The crew was kind, professional and tidy. They truly do excellent work. Bob and Tara made sure they walked us through every step and that we were happy along the way. Thank you for all you did to give our home the make over it needed!
M Rhodes Co., LLC is a very honorable and professional company. They did a great job installing top of the line siding on our home and the siding looks beautiful. Their worker that installed the siding was very meticulous, polite, friendly and definitely a hard worker. The owner, Bob Rhodes and his daughter, Tara, explained in detail the process from start to finish. They were very knowledgeable, friendly and professional and answered all of our questions. They started and finished our project within the promised timeframe. We would highly recommend M Rhodes Co., LLC!
Owner and daughter on the estimate. One installer on the wall.
They come back
A family shop proves itself when the same people hire them again, or when a storm is coming and the windows still go in.
Not only would we unconditionally refer folks to M. Rhodes Company, we returned to them two additional occasions and now a third. Rhodes first installed new windows in a large house in Norman for us.
Four jobs. The first one was a large Norman house.
Exceptional! 2 person team at install. All windows were perfect fit. Took 1-1/2 days for total install with complete removal of old windows from premises, interior of home was left completely clean and new windows completely caulked and cleaned. Original meeting with M. Rhodes Company consisted of owner, Robert (Bob) Rhodes and associate, Tara. The windows have added so much aesthetics to our home. It looks beautiful! Windows were installed just days before the Artic Storm in January 2026 and very notable efficiency improvement was experienced in a matter of hours/days.
They beat a January storm, and she felt the house change the same week.
We are very pleased with the recent window installation at our new barn with a shop/living quarters that we are builing. Mr. Rhodes and his daughter came out and consulted with us and ordered our windows. We were on a tight deadline and no one could get our windows in less than 6 weeks but Mr. Rhodes called in personally to ask if they could get the windows a little quicker than normal and they delivered! The quality of the windows and the precision of the installation exceeded our expectations, thank you Travis!
A barn house, a six-week lead time, and Travis on the install.
Everything went great! They made my house look decades younger and took their time to do a good job on my siding and windows. I'll continue to recommend them to others as they have done a great job for other I know who used them.
Best fit for homeowners
M. Rhodes is a particularly strong match for homeowners who:
- Want the owner or his daughter to give the estimate
- Want vinyl siding and windows from a family shop, not a storm crew
- Live in Oklahoma City or a nearby county they already serve
- Want Mastic or another high-grade vinyl, with trim and vents done as part of the wrap
- Prefer a company homeowners have hired three and four times
Before you compare quotes
The cheapest number can be the thinnest scope. Ask every contractor to specify these items in writing:
- Removal and disposal of existing siding or windows
- Product line, including trim, vents, and insulation
- House wrap, flashing, and caulk
- Who hangs the work
- Cleanup and final debris removal
- Start date and finish window, including weather
Then compare the written scope, not just the final price.
The bottom line
M. Rhodes is on this list because the reviews name Bob, Tara, and Stacy, and because homeowners keep coming back. An 83-year siding shop where the owner still walks the house is the kind of specific Oklahoma City can use.
The reviews are not simply enthusiastic. They give you a number, a product, and the people. That is what makes the difference.

How do I hire a siding company in Oklahoma?
Start with the 2026 city winner if they hang the material you want, then call that shop. Get wrap, flashing, and trim on the written estimate. Ask who is on site the week they start.
What should be on a written siding estimate?
Product line and color, square footage, tear-off or reside, housewrap, flashing, trim, soffit, paint or factory finish, dumpster, and start window. If wrap and flashing are missing, the cheap number is usually a thinner scope.
Do I need to replace siding or can I repair it?
Repair works when damage is local: a few cracked boards, one wall, chimney wrap, or trim rot. Full replacement makes sense when the wrap is failing, paint will not hold, water is behind the skin, or you are changing material.
How long does a siding job take?
A typical Tulsa house is days, not months, if weather holds. Homeowners on this issue describe whole-house wraps in a week and smaller chimney or gable jobs in a day or two. Ask about start date, crew size, and whether they tear off and hang in the same week.
