Sooner State Home Improvements
Joe Jordan’s OKC shop for siding and windows
Sooner State is on this list because the reviews describe an Oklahoma City windows-and-siding shop that homeowners hire more than once. They do not merely say the house looked better. They name a siding wrap the neighbors complimented, three jobs on one house, 14 windows and 4 doors, and an owner who came back to recheck the measurements.
For Oklahoma City homeowners, those details matter. They show how Joe Jordan’s shop operates when the openings and the walls are one ticket.

Homeowners should confirm current product lines, warranty coverage, and the written project scope directly with the company before contracting.
What the reviews show
The best contractor reviews name the siding, the count of openings, and whether the house came back. Sooner State’s file has those notes.
Joe and his team were amazing to work with. From the start, they were so informative and helpful. The crew did an absolutely amazing job on the siding project. My house looks brand new and all my neighbors are complimenting us on how great it looks! If you’re looking to have your siding replaced, I would recommend this company any day!
A named owner, a siding wrap, and the street noticed. That is why a windows shop sits on a siding list.
Sooner State has now completed installing both windows and siding to the house & I have been very pleased in all three cases. I still have windows to replace to the added on room and will be calling again when ready to finish the window project!
Three jobs on one house, and a fourth already planned.
Named counts on the openings
A useful review gives you a number you can walk.
I had all my 14 windows and 4 doors replaced. Everyone at Sooner State was extremely kind and helpful. Shout out to Parker, Scott and James. Could not recommend this company enough.
Exact counts and three named people on the crew.
Sooner State Home Improvements were exceptional! I had 20 windows replaced, entry door and storm door. We were very pleased. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Sooner State was great to work with. Everyone was so kind and professional. They worked with me to get the best option for my budget - and turned my horrible 100-year-old windows into beautiful, efficient, quiet masterpieces! Feels like a whole new house!
A century of windows, then a quiet house.
The owner on the tape measure
A shop proves itself when the owner comes back to check the work, or when the installer stays after five.
The project consultant made an appointment and arrived at the appointed time. He spent time with us discussing what we wanted and showing us the options and taking measurements. I was very satisfied with the meeting. Later, the owner set an appointment and came to recheck the measurements and answer any questions we had. Truthfully, despite the great reviews and the great BBB rating, I had concerns about doing the windows in the winter. The timing and the weather worked out great. The windows were installed. They did an excellent job. The windows were completed sooner than I thought they would be and the work was professional. The house was noticeably quieter. The clean-up job was well done. The results of the project were much better than we expected.
Winter worry, owner on the tape measure, then a quieter house.
They gave us a good price on a front door. The door installer did an excellent job installing the door! He took his time, did a thorough job and stayed after 5:00 pm to make sure the job was completed. My husband and I are pleased with the door and would highly recommend sooner state home improvement to anyone needing a new ProVia front door.
A ProVia door and an installer who finished after hours.
I was very impressed with the professional manner that each person involved handled the job. They worked steadily, cleaned up after themselves and even went the extra mile to install 2 new sills. The salesman delivered exactly what he promised. The workers were personable and well-mannered. Thanks!
Two extra sills that were not a sales pitch.
My experience from the beginning was wonderful! your receptionist was polite and friendly, my calls were returned as promised; David was honest, helpful, and accommodating. Your installers, Cameron and Justin were top notch – polite, friendly, efficient, clean, patient. Thanks so much for everything.
She names the office, David, Cameron, and Justin.
This is our second home we have installed your windows in. We have referred Sooner State to others and they had them installed in their houses too. We would recommend to anyone wishing to have new windows!
A second house and friends who also hired them.
Best fit for homeowners
Sooner State is a particularly strong match for homeowners who:
- Live in Oklahoma City or a nearby suburb
- Want vinyl, engineered wood, or polymer siding from a windows-and-siding shop
- Want windows and siding on the same house, sometimes in more than one phase
- Want the owner to recheck measurements
- Prefer a family shop with more than 30 years in the trade
Before you compare quotes
The cheapest number can be the thinnest scope. Ask every contractor to specify these items in writing:
- Removal and disposal of existing siding or windows
- Product line: vinyl, engineered wood, or polymer
- House wrap, flashing, and trim on a siding job
- Window counts, door counts, and sill work
- Cleanup and final debris removal
- Who comes back if a measurement is wrong
Then compare the written scope, not just the final price.
The bottom line
Sooner State is on this list because the reviews name the siding, the window counts, and an owner who came back to the tape measure. Oklahoma City homeowners who want the walls and the openings from one shop can use those specifics.
The reviews are not simply enthusiastic. They name Joe, Parker, Scott, James, David, Cameron, and Justin. That is what makes the difference.

How do I hire a siding company in Oklahoma?
Start with the 2026 city winner if they hang the material you want, then call that shop. Get wrap, flashing, and trim on the written estimate. Ask who is on site the week they start.
What should be on a written siding estimate?
Product line and color, square footage, tear-off or reside, housewrap, flashing, trim, soffit, paint or factory finish, dumpster, and start window. If wrap and flashing are missing, the cheap number is usually a thinner scope.
Do I need to replace siding or can I repair it?
Repair works when damage is local: a few cracked boards, one wall, chimney wrap, or trim rot. Full replacement makes sense when the wrap is failing, paint will not hold, water is behind the skin, or you are changing material.
How long does a siding job take?
A typical Tulsa house is days, not months, if weather holds. Homeowners on this issue describe whole-house wraps in a week and smaller chimney or gable jobs in a day or two. Ask about start date, crew size, and whether they tear off and hang in the same week.
